Our primary mission was to hire Disabled Veterans returning from the Middle East, Military spouses that stayed behind to raise the family and 24/7 caregivers...all of whom needed to work remotely from their homes. Cora then expanded its scope and offered its assistance to all Special Needs Americans. We have now opened up to all Unemployed Americans, recognizing the debilitating effects of being jobless!
We need more staff IMMEDIATELY to meet the needs of our new clients. Though CORA is a for profit company, our profit margin is extremely small. We pay our employees minimum wage, and we charge our clients $9.99 per employee hour worked. The balance goes only to operating costs. Our operating costs are extremely low, as well, because we are a Virtual company, we have no "brick and mortar" buildings to pay upkeep for...we exist solely in Cyberspace which makes us an absolutely "green" company.
We stress to our employees that they need to factor into their minimum wage earnings the cost savings of working from home. We've estimated that the average "on-site" worker pays approx. $15.00 - 20.00 / per day just for gasoline, wardrobe, lunches, automobile maintenance, etc.. Our employees do not have to invest their own time and risk in travel to and from work. Additionally, employees are able to deduct their own "Costs of Employment" from their Federal & State Tax Liability (eg. - High speed cable connection for Internet access, upkeep for their computing equipment, part of their utility costs, etc.).
What we do is try to help people...that, and only that, is our primary focus and goal. We are actively trying to bring Off-Shore outsourced jobs back to America for our own unemployed.
