Under the direction of the Financial Benefits Specialist, responsible for assisting with financial management and maintenance of individual funds and benefits. Responsible for food stamp benefit applications and re-certification, following up with residential staff to obtain necessary documentation from residences if needed. prepare and filing of annual Medicaid Re-certification for individuals, obtaining required documentation from residences when necessary. Complete on-line Social Security Representative Payee Reports. Conduct Food Stamp Interviews as scheduled by Department of Social Services for initial food stamp application and/or re certification.

Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred with at least 2 years of related experience or a H.S. Diploma and Four years of experience in a position requiring a working knowledge and application of Social Security and Medicaid rules and regulations. Relevant experience may be considered in place of education requirements
