Provides on-site coverage, client and administrative support to staff.
Support and assistance to the nursing staff and provide supportive counseling to clients in crisis.
Assist in admissions process with the support of nursing staff.
Checking for incoming packages for contraband.
Monitors phone, call-ins and maintains a sick call in list per shift supervisor when not assigned to a specific unit.
Obtains and chart vital signs and maintains chart documentation on assigned unit.
Possesses basic knowledge of medications for withdrawal and knowledge of the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction and utilizes approved Loyola Recovery Foundation abbreviations.
Ensures clean and safe environment for clients and staff. Facilitates groups around health.
Provides assistance in monitoring clients during group time to ensure attendance.
Checks client area for needed supplies and restocking units.
Communicates with supply coordinator of needed supplies.
Provides safe transportation for clients as needed.
Accesses all client information and maintains confidentiality regulations.
