Experience in multiple industries with numerous manufacturing processes & materials including but certainly not limited to: welded steel tubing fabrications, injection molding, plastic extrusions, aluminum extrusions, fasteners, aluminum die-casting, investment casting, powder coating, anodizing, iron/steel castings, precision machining, heavy welding, pressure vessels, and wood furniture and chairs.

International working experience includes over 6.5 years in China & 9 months in Taiwan. Excellent Mandarin Chinese communication skills allow me to discuss technical issues directly with suppliers reducing misunderstandings. Responsibilities & Professional Accomplishments:
• Broad depth of knowledge with the tools, concepts, methodologies, and realistic hands on implementation of quality management throughout multiple industries and numerous manufacturing processes.
• Experienced in AIAG APQP / PPAP project requirements including NPD, resourcing, and new supplier training.
• PPAPed highly engineered machined aluminum die castings for automotive steering and suspension applications with EAUs over 1 million with Chinese suppliers.
• China supplier site manager ensuring fabrication crews adhere to welding specifications and good quality construction practices. Reduced manufacturing defects ergo speeding fabrication of up to 91 ton pressure vessels from 9 month to 3 months.
• Developed inspection and test plans for work verification throughout fabrication following Chinese GB 150 and ASME Section VIII Pressure Vessel Code for methanol separators, heat exchangers, volume bottles
• While at GE identified then coordinated with engineering & supplier to drive material change for $280,000 per year cost savings.
• While at GE identified a new supplier and initiated a resourcing effort, which resulted in $1.2 million in yearly projected savings.
• Experience in reviewing warranty data to prioritize based on various metrics and then actively engaging suppliers to pursue needed changes for metric improvements.
• 2013 worked closely with purchasing to resource multiple projects and kick start stalled projects for over $300,000 yearly cost savings.
• Audited suppliers to determine future compliance to company requirements and audited to determine continued adherence to company needs and goals. Provided supplier recommendations for specific projects and strategy fulfillment.
• Managed the use of 3rd party inspection agencies in Mainland China to assist in reducing shipped defective product.
