Tests and Measures

As a forward-thinking engineering technician,
I have identified problem sources, gathered
meaningful data and provided analysis that led
to cost-saving solutions. Utilizing essential
process tools, I have consistently increased
throughput, productivity, efficiency and
quality. I can execute tasks supporting
engineering development by:

* Anticipating, investigating and
troubleshooting to uncover process issues

* Resolving problems to meet productivity,
quality and deliverability goals

* Proactively acquiring data and performing
analysis engineers can rely upon

* Innovating methods to ensure continuous and
stable operations

* Accomplishing engineering work without
impacting processes

Always eager to resolve problems on the
floor, I am adept at finding the answers
others cant find. I achieved highest
Distinction in Chemical Engineering Technology
while earning an Associate degree in
Engineering from The Pennsylvania State
University.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Saved production line from $2M shutdown. NXP
was experiencing unexplainable line width
failures, even though prior product runs with
same tools were fine. Determined developer
mixing-equipment was malfunctioning. Avoided
shutdown with minimal product rework,
negligible scrap and no impact to production
schedule.

Rebalanced work flow to sustain uninterrupted
operations. NXP measurement tool repair caused
automatic shut off of skip lot measurement
scheme and line stoppage. Measured critical
product and sorted through others. Rebalanced
work flow, maintaining quality with no waste.
Reduced workload at measurement to normal
levels.

Anticipated data requirement before engineers
needed it. Noticed NXP product was out of
spec. Conducted full wafer measurements and
some initial analysis. When asked by
engineering for full job measurements
regarding failure mechanism, data was already
collected. Provided engineers with analysis
and answers they were seeking.

Revised sampling plan, reducing product
losses. Phillips Project Manager inquired as
to why he was scrapping 10 to 20 jobs of
certain product each week. Upon investigation
of line width variation, determined that
sample plan needed to be changed. Introduced
new sampling plan, decreasing scrap.

Improved process cycle time 15%. MiCrus sought
cycle time improvement. Then current process
required UV hardening that was time consuming.
Suggested using negative tome resist for
implant levels. Tested...
