- Assisted in the joint development project and prototype build of a new vehicle for a major automotive customer.
- Examined customer applications to determine solutions for customers looking to join various materials, then consulted with customer to discuss options.
- Used mechanical testing to identify the most robust solutions. Multiple methods were utilized including tensile testing (e.g. Instron) and hardness testing.
- Writing reports in a clear, concise fashion, with the analysis and terminology often modified depending on the intended recipient.
- If detailed reports were required, the investigations would include metallurgical analysis – for example: sample preparation, acid etching and digital microscopy.

- Research and developmental testing of a new bio-compatible medical adhesive, helping to bring the product closer to market.
- Developed and optimized the test methods utilized, as well as writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and methods.
