Lockheed Martin – IS&GS April 2011 ~ June 2014
Sr. Field Engineer – Was an ISR operator of a Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS) aerostat in Afghanistan. Operated a EON, EOW and IR camera system and monitored a motion detection radar. Performed periodic maintenance on the PTDS system, including power generators and power systems, software, electronics, hydraulics, fiber optic splicing. Wrote and submitted weekly reports. Achieved a high rate of operational availability. Troubleshot at a system level these same systems as necessary.

Lockheed Martin – MS2. June 1990 ~ February 2011
Worked on Aegis Combat System Cruisers and Destroyers during new construction at production shipyards in Pascagoula, MS and Bath, ME.
Combat System Alignment (CSA) engineer- Generated Aegis SPY radar and Weapons Control System (WCS) adaptation data. Directed Alignment Verification testing by coordinating live aircraft runs with Test Operations personnel and the real time results from the Enhanced Radar Data Display System computer. Calculated calibrations for Radar Alignment Verification Equipment, Optical Sight and Gun Muzzle cameras. Reduced tactical data, analyzed system performance and reported results. Proposed and implemented corrective action(s) to bring alignment within tolerance as needed. Familiar with theodolites, clinometers, laser tracker, surveying techniques, hull flexure models, parallax corrections, and director Radio Frequency (RF) collimation.

Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS) engineer- Responsible for ensuring Aegis ORTS equipment and related interfaces were functioning. Responsible for proper installation, activation and operation of computing environment, configuration and interfaces. Identified and resolved software design issues. Generated program patches to ensure program performance was in accordance with design specifications. Provided network engineering support. Documented, reviewed, analyzed, and recommended solutions via Computer Program Change Reports (CPCRs).
