Assessment of the file cabinet area for the increased cabinet load over the years of the Veteran Benefits administrative building at VA Healthcare system Newington Campus B2E CT- Department of Veteran Affairs. Tools used: MATHCAD, STAAD Pro. Excel Sheets. Design Methodology adopted for the T-beam joists and beams: LRFD.

Miscellaneous analysis computations for rehabilitation work on the approach span of Brooklyn Bridge (Manhattan Side) adhering to NYSDOT and NYDOT guidelines.
Involved in the design and analysis of Helicopter Support Structure (Truss) for the Black Hawk helicopter, Client – Sikorsky, Stratford, CT. The design was based on Traffic light and sign support structures guidelines. Tool used- STAAD .Pro
Structural engineer responsible for the Water main and support design across Bridge no. 00471(Us route 6) over Pequabuck River in Plymouth, Ct – Developed the structural calculations, specifications and drafting of the pipeline with support structure attached to the deck along the bridge. Extensive study of the existing condition of the structure VDOT Browns Farm Street BEBO structure, Fredericksburg, VA, develop analysis model in STAAD Pro. and load rate the bridge for VDOT vehicles. Manual hand calculations for the capacity check were performed and developed in mathcad and excel.

Bridge Load Rating in LRFR and LFD of 14 Span Floor beam – Girder Stringer System Bridge, Wethersfield- Glastonbury crossing over Connecticut River (Putnam Bridge, CT), Performed load rating analysis for the additional loads due to the new bike path/ sidewalk for the bridge for final condition and construction Stages using LARS and Virtis.

ConDOT , VDOT and RIDOT NBIS Bridge Inspection & Load Rating, Statewide– load rating of bridges throughout Connecticut, Virginia and Rhode Island. Responsible for the input in Virtis, BRASS Girder and BRASS Culvert, analysis review and confirmation of results and reporting. The project provides LRFR and LFD rating analyses for Interstate and Primary Highway bridges of various spans and materials.
