PROFILE
Dedicated and Energetic reservoir engineer with more than 2.5 years of experience in water flood and Enhanced Oil Recovery mechanisms. Planning yearly surveillance to monitor and improve waterflood conformance for increasing oil recovery and planning miscible gas injection for EOR. Leading area technical reviews. Undertaking production decline analysis for Life of field well utilization and using classical reservoir engineering to find habitat of un-swept oil and going after new targets.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Graduated BP's 3 year Challenger Program in 2 years.
• Worked with pad engineers to improve Water flood conformance, benefits >1000 bbls oil per day.
• Technofest (BP Internal Competition) 1st Prize winner in Business Impact Category for Water flood conformance improvement implementation.
• Evaluated and recommended interventions to improve poor water flood performance and MI injection strategy, pad production doubled ~5000 bbls oil per day.
• Presented a paper at the 2012 SPE Western Regional Meeting, Bakersfield, California, USA on “Evaluation of Electromagnetic Heating for Heavy Oil Recovery from Alaskan Reservoirs”, SPE 154123.
• Winner of BP-UAF Scholarship.
• Won the coveted Pat on the Back award, Tech Mahindra Ltd.
• Awarded the Certificate of Appreciation, Tech Mahindra Ltd.
• Appreciated for excellent team working spirits.
• Admired for good verbal and communication skills.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
03/2014 to Current: Reservoir Engineer - Milne Point
BP Exploration Alaska - Anchorage, Alaska
• Ensure depletion plans & strategies are in place to maintain reservoir decline, area VRR, GOR, and reservoir pressures.
• Create and update Area Development Plans in adherence with depletion plans & strategies.
• Define the habitat of remaining hydrocarbons, by appropriate integration of surveillance, geological and well performance data as feed for opportunity identification (5 prospects progressed ~ 1500 bbls oil per day incremental production).
• Ensure facility life planning decisions are understood with respect to the depletion plan, and communicate impacts to NWD & Base Management.
• Participate in technical reviews and interchange with WIO's to assure timely understanding of area performance and planned activities.
03/2012 to 03/2014: Reservoir Engineer - Prudhoe Bay
BP Exploration Alaska - Anchorage, Alaska
• Identify shortfalls in sweep or conformance versus planned flood performance and evaluate causes (Water flood conformance improvement benefits >1000 bbls oil per day, Technofest winner).
• Evaluate and recommend interventions to improve poor performance (Brightwater, squeeze, re-completions, etc. pad production doubled ~5000 bbls oil per day).
• Recommend voidage/injection targets to balance patterns/field sectors and tactical well-work to improve performance.
• Establishing injection targets for water, gas and MI consistent with depletion strategy and tracking reservoir response.
• Calculate Value of Water (or other injectant) from production data for wells/patterns/pad.
• Studying miscible gas injection benefits and implementing miscible gas injection for EOR (>1000 bbls oil per day benefits due to MI strategy).
• Monitoring pattern and reservoir health (VRR, pressure management, GOR limits, EOR).
• Lead an Area Review (organize, prepare data, capture and document list of identified opportunities).
• Apply a decline or type curve analysis on several wells to determine production trends.
• Combine decline or type curve analysis at field level (or, use alternative methods) to predict field performance appropriate for the reservoir mechanism.
• 6 weeks of experience working with well interventions on the Alaska North Slope.
• Slope-wide Injection Coordinator for Ala...
