• Automated the WAS Configuration: Automated the whole WAS configuration using JACL scripting (wsadmin console) which involves creating application servers, Clusters, deployment of applications, creating Queue Managers, Queues, Activation Specs, shared libraries, variables.
• Automated the Deployment Process: Automated the whole deployment process of PayX using BLCLI (BladeLogic) Scripting which involves Automatic Creation of Component Templates, Components, BLPackages and Deploy Jobs.
• Automated the build process: Automated the whole build process of 4 projects (PayX, HRB, I-Hub, PTO), using ANT/MAVEN scripts. Implemented a procedure which invoke parallel builds with help of Hudson/BuildForge, and reduce the time taken by the build process.
• Business Objects and Crystal Reports set-up: Automated the whole process using BladeLogic Configuration Manager, which set up the Central Management servers and other Job servers.
• Introduced the hudson tool (open source) to our project on my own interest which helps the project a lot in reducing the cost, earlier we used IBM BuildForge right now we are using Hudson for our daily builds.

Pay expert, the ADP Internet Payroll product essentially employs an Internet input system that front-ends an existing Auto Pay mainframe engine. It provides payroll services that improve payroll management for employers. The hosted server design allows clients to access the product from virtually anywhere.
Roles and Responsibilities:
SCM Related Activities
o Responsible for configuration management functions associated with product releases, maintenance of the quality assurance environment and production configuration file content.
o Responsible for configuring the entire WAS configuration which involves creating the clusters, application servers, queues, queue managers, datasources, deploying applications etc.
o Responsible for creating the ANT/MAVEN scripts to build the entire code and maintining the scripts.
o Responsible for creating the local environments to debug the issues, and to decrease the downtime of the environment.
o Responsible for creation of BLCLI Scripts for Automating Deployment Process, maintain the existing scripts.
o Performing software builds, packaging (Bladelogic packages) and deployments (using Bladelogic CM). Also patch deployments as HotFixes to Various Environments (Certification, IFT, DIT, FIT and Staging).
