Qualification Summary:

• Over 20 years of civil engineering experience, ranging from structural engineer, group and division project leader, to engineering and construction manager. Successfully completed 35 projects. Main skills are in structural design and industrial installation.

• Responsibilities included design of steel and concrete structures, development and supervision of structural drawings and details, and performing structural analyses of various types of structures, including steel buildings, both industrial and commercial, concrete and steel residential and educational buildings. Locations included both onshore and offshore activities.

• Extensive experience in the design and construction of steel bridges and other major structures.

• Served as Director of the Regional Coordinating Education Unit for the Executing Infrastructure Zulia State (Venezuela), and as Professor of the Chair of Concrete and Structures I at Rafael Urdaneta University (Venezuela) from 1992-1996. 2010: 120 square meter Heliostat design. Coordinated project development with suppliers and design of structures, components and other aspects of project.

Tonopah, NV. Proposal development with conceptual and basic engineering for a 350MW Thermo-Solar Power Plant with tower technology.

Hualapai Valley, AZ. Proposal development of 350MW Thermo-Solar Power Plant using parabolic trough collectors and HTF technologies.

2009: Renewable Energy Department – Evaluation, design and analysis of a parabolic trough collector development project, cost analysis and estimation, bidding, preparations of specifications, coordination of project execution plan and power plant design concepts.

Manchasol-2, Spain. 50MW Thermo-Solar Power Plant. Solar field coordination, molten salt design review, technical evaluation of bids, in addition to buildings and foundation design.

2008: Manchasol-1, Spain. 50MW Thermo-Solar Power Plant. Responsible for technical specifications of solar field collectors and structures, swivel joints, piping, molten salt design review and the technical evaluation of supplier bids for the solar field.

AES Corporation Project, Cartagena, Spain. 1,200MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. Responsible for the coordination of the warranties and documentation for the project evaluation and certificate of completion.

2007: El Kureimat III Project, Egypt. 750MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. Responsible for the turbine and HRSG structure design, field erection coordination of the steel structure, and the piping fabrication and installation on the BOP.

San Lorenzo-Pue, Mexico. Combined Cycle Power Plant. Responsible for the basic engineering design and supervision of the construction and detailed engineering design.

2006: Takhalar Project, Indonesia. Preparation of the turnkey bid for a Combined Cycle Power Plant.
