2007-2012 - Systems Engineering Technical Area Manager, Syracuse Research Corporation, Syracuse, N.Y.
Engineering Program Manager for a $12M DARPA radar exploitation program called FOPEN GXP. Authored major quality process improvements as technical area manager for the airborne radar group. A key leader in staff training development for junior engineers. Primary customer contact for design and vehicle integration of a new military combat ID system for the US Army. Successfully developed the company’s high performance computer system including staff training, financial planning, performance testing, and major upgrades. Served as lead engineer for an in-service radar system with over 300 fielded units. Supported the design of the radar software architecture. Developed C++ code for embedded radar system as well as the .NET GUI radar controls and display application. Improved radar performance through analysis of radar data using matlab® / mex. Improved product quality through in-depth static analysis and software metrics measuring product quality. Effectively implemented C++ code re-use efforts to further enhance developer productivity.

2004-2007 - Lead Systems Engineer, CACI Inc, Rome N.Y.
Lead system developer for an embedded communications system used by the US Air Force. Designed and developed new intelligence analyst applications using C++ on LINUX-based platforms.


2000-2004 – General Manager, NAVAL SUBMARINE SCHOOL, Groton, Connecticut
Administration of the largest school in the Navy with a student throughput of over 30,000 students per year. Supervised a staff of over 700 include mentoring about 35 junior officers. Lead quality improvement innovations for 67 electronic classrooms and distance learning innovations. Responsible for a $110 million plant and 12 buildings. Responsible for a computer security and data integrity of over 600 installed on-site computers and WAN gateways. Remarkably well organized, ensures optimum system performance within the assigned budget.


1998-2000 - DEPUTY FOR READINESS, SUBMARINE SQUADRON TWO, Groton, Connecticut
Consultant for Nuclear Engineering and Ship Logistics. Successfully improved the performance of six assigned ships on their reactor safeguards exams. Monitored and evaluated logistics performance. Successfully ensured all six ships deployed on time in Spring 1999.


1995-1997 - DIRECTOR OF NAVY TORPEDO TESTING, Washington, DC
Responsible for all the Hardware and Software testing for all US Navy torpedoes. Successfully completed three major operational evaluations required for the final approval for new torpedo systems.
