Vice President Engineering, Troutville, VA, 2008 - Present
Managed Engineering Division including product development, production, applications and customer service. Led a diverse staff of engineers, architects, process engineers and construction specialists.
· Led the initiation, development and implementation for proprietary processes for the start-up of North American operations; included all technical design, product, process and QA/QC parameters and standards.
· Provided structural design services to Contractors, Engineers, Architects and direct purchase customers resulting in the inclusion of the LiteSteel beam into 100’s of projects.
· Developed and managed manufacturing improvements in welding / shaping processes resulting in a 375% gain in mill yields using 6 Sigma/Lean programs.
