-Assures bi-directional traceability of all requirements phase through the design and test phase of the project and all requirements accounted for including CDRL requirements.
-Assures the integrity of parent/child traceability and version control of the various requirement artifacts are maintained through the establishment and maintenance of a requirements management system (e.g., DOORS).
-Assures all requirement changes are assessed for impact to the overall system and subsystems and that implemented changes are tracked and controlled. Establishes specification of each system and sub-system element and ensuring that those specifications contain the proper allocated requirements, together with any margins allocated to each requirement.
