• Lead a team of 15 Product Design Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to design and introduce new products into manufacturing. Primary focus is to improve cost through innovative design, lean manufacturing practices and automation. I developed and managed the capital budget for the facility of $2.1 million. Successfully launched a large product line extension that significantly increased sales.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Senior Project Manager and Plant Superintendant
• Managed the application and installation of over $35 Million in roll-forming, stamping, plating, painting and assembly operations over a fifteen year period. Managed capital budgets averaging $2.5 million per year.
• Managed cross-functional teams in developing and launching over $60 million in new products over a 15 year period. Developed project schedules and facilitated the team meetings for successful product launches.
• Managed the complete re-location of two factories including planning, Auto Cad layouts, hiring riggers to move equipment, installation and training of operators.
• Key member of a corporate-wide team assigned to automate and streamline the product development and product costing process. Together we developed an interactive database and electronic sign-off system which cut the lead time for new product quotes in half from four weeks to two.
