- Dissertation project: A Monte Carlo Study of the Scaling of Nucleation Rates in a Lennard-Jones System.
o Scaling of the homogenous vapor-to-liquid nucleation rates, J, using a Lennard-Jones model system is observed. The nucleation rate, J, is determined at four temperatures, which are below the LJ critical temperature, using Monte Carlo derived small cluster growth/decay rate constant ratios and the kinetic steady-state nucleation rate formalism.
