company and customer specifications to achieve superior quality and reliability levels.
• Serve as Program Manager for ISO 9001-2008 Certification, both internal and twice yearly outside audits from SGS.
• Manage Quality Assurance System which includes Product Planning Control, Product Design Control and all facets
of Production Quality Control, verifying adherence to strict Clare principles via a multi-discipline team environment.
• Maintain new product qualification and existing process/product changes via reliability evaluations based on the
methods and conditions outlined in recognized JEDEC and MILSTD industry standards.

Operating Life (IOL) and Autoclave, verified via electrical testing using Eagle and HP electrical device testing

• Maintain document control for reliability/qualification testing including set-up and maintenance of reliability testing
travelers, qualification log/matrix and writing/presenting all associated reports to satisfy new product releases.
• Initiated a rigorous qualification plan and program to satisfy AEC-Q101-004 Section 4 Automotive Qualification
Standard.
• Key responder to all customer inquiries including completion of IPC Form 1752, Material Declarations, Motorola
W18/CXS Material Composition Survey forms, etc.
• Maintain and authorize all external and internal CAPA reports.
• Establish and communicate goals for quality, track performance; maintaining an outgoing quality level < 100PPM.

Project Leader Process/Quality Control

• Developed an in-depth understanding of the current process for producing Ti:Sapphire laser rods from crystal boules
and implemented necessary changes to improve the process resulting in a 35% sales increase for Ti:Sapphire.
• Utilized standard procedures and methodologies to develop a process for acquiring necessary data, implementing
full documentation and communicating the results effectively to the crystal growth manager.
• Devised a comprehensive flow chart and quality control loop representing the process.
• Addressed measurement and inspection issues (utilizing the Spectra-Physics 2020 Argon Laser and Zygo GPI-XP
Interferometer Surface/Wavefront mapping system) that arose between CSI and various customers.

of Ti:Sapphire characterization analysis.

• Implemented BTI TEOS characterization plan, high temperature oxidation furnace characterization (BTI and MRL furnaces) and performed the function/role of APEX host administrator.
• Acted as liason between Sales/Marketing and Customer as "Production/Quality Control" for satisfying SIMOX customer specifications and shipping requirements.
• Instrumental in initiating IBIS qualification as an ISO-9000 company and representing the SIMOX production/quality group during rigorous customer QSR audits, Japanese quality audits and organizing random internal (IBIS) quality audits.
• Performed research duties as a principal investigator for SBIR Phase I and Phase II proposals.

Process Engineer III /Production Control 1993 - 1998

• Performed "hands-on" maintenance and operation of Eaton NV200 high current Oxygen implanters.
• Supervised 3 Process Technicians and one Process Engineer - providing them with goals and process directives designed to meet production yield criteria.
• Maintained process flow for all aspects of the SIMOX production wafer FAB facility - responsible for improvements in the RCA cleaning techniques and executed DOE for alternative cleaning chemistry JTB100.
• Initiated detailed spreadsheet reports to track Raw Wafer Material Inventory, Customer Supplied Inventory , SIMOX Finished Goods Inventory and production work in process (WIP).
