EXPERIENCE
1987 - Present Savannah River Site (SRS) Aiken, SC
Began my career in the New York City high-rise industry (The World Trade Center); the New Orleans commercial construction industry (The Super Dome Stadium); and the industrial construction industry. I entered the nuclear industry in 1977 at the Waterford III Nuclear Power Plant, and have since been continuously employed at the Savannah River Site (DOE Nuclear Reservation) for 25 years through changing Management & Operations contractors E. I. DuPont, Bechtel Savannah River Inc., and currently Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. I have been on special assignments to Nevada Test Site, Y-12 Site at the Oak Ridge Nuclear Reservation and the Hanford Nuclear Reservation (other DOE nuclear sites). I have held positions of increasing skills and responsibilities in different departments throughout my career at the Savannah River Site, to include the following:
Commission and Test Services Group (Startup)
Worked in the Startup and HVAC testing group on numerous critical and complex projects performing multiple tasks, including the following:
• Functioned as Project Startup Manager, HVAC/Air Balance Manager, and
Level III Lead HVAC/Air Balance Engineer on various sitewide projects.
• Developed Startup program documents, estimates and schedules for CD2/CD3
project development phases.
• Develop project Functional Acceptance Criteria (FAC) documents for
Design Engineering.
• Developed and managed Startup budget.
• Developed project Startup testing strategy.
• Responsible for project Startup Test Implementation Plan and System
Turnover Plan.
• Develop project system scope drawings for project turnover and Startup
testing.
• Wrote Startup test procedures.
• Managed and assigned test personnel.
• Managed field testing activities.
• Responsible for startup testing, tracking, status and reporting.
