Process Engineer/Plant Manager
 Responsibilities: Managing the Plant 2 facility, consisting of Cnc lathes and mills. Assigning all operators to their machine. Determining the correct parts for manufacturing to maintain an on time delivery of products. Working with management on new and existing projects. Developing stable and repeatable process, from the beginning to the end with all parts that are processed through my area.
 Current Project: The CROWS 2 project consists of an unmanned 50 caliber gun on a turret mounted to a military vehicle which is remote controlled from inside the vehicle. This is a multi-million dollar project. Weapons System Video

 Process Management: Assign tooling and machining processes for these complex and tight tolerance parts. Working with QA to ensure the highest integrity of quality is in the parts being manufactured. Make all process control documents. Including set-up sheets, in-process inspection sheets and gagging lists.
 Equipment: Currently processing these parts on Gildimeister Twin 65, GMX, Beta, and Twin 42 machines. Which have twin turrets and sub spindles. The GMX turning centers hold up to 80 tools and has a b-axis. All machines currently use the Siemens 840D control.
 Managerial Responsibilities: Daily start-up meetings with all operators’ efficiency reporting and tracking of machine up & down time. Review of resumes for employment. Managing overtime cost reduction. Cycle time management. Production improvements on cycle times. Maintain a production schedule and oversee the production process to ensure that quality product is produced in an expedient manner. Continuous improvement methods developed and implemented in order to achieve goals in the areas of cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, work flow, and quality procedures.

 Responsibilities: This is a high volume production shop, specializing in airbag components. Currently I have the responsibility of maintaining 34 Cnc Swiss.
 Duties: 1. Set-up, maintains set-up, fully operate all machine tools within tolerances and specifications as directed by supervisor or written documentation. 2. Adapt standard tooling, mount cutting tools, set speeds and feeds, determine number of cuts required to obtain finish, and make all necessary adjustments. 3. Check and measure work using measuring tools, micrometers, microscope, pin gauges. 4. Work from engineering drawings, rough sketches, written specifications, oral instructions. 5. Give work direction to machine operators and other machinist as required. 9. Perform other related duties as assigned.  Achievements: Recently I optimized a part program and tooling, with no added cost to the job and increased this parts production by 100%. And it runs on four machines for a total of 400%.
