• Collaborated with cross-functional teams on a major effort to remediate design history files for Zimmer total knee replacement systems and surgical instruments based on FDA Quality Systems Regulations (CFR Title 21, Part 820) related to device design risk analysis, design verification and validation, and design/process change verification.
• Provide computational, analytical, and mechanical testing support for the design verification and validation of orthopedic devices based on FDA guidance and industry standards such as ISO 13485.  Investigate product complaints per Zimmer CAPA system and perform root cause analysis to address and resolve design issues in a timely manner.
• Initiated, developed, and successfully completed D.O.E. study to determine the effect of increased hex-socket depth tolerance on driver engagement and torsional shear resistance in tibial baseplate augment attachment screws.
