Materials Synthesis and Device Fabrication
o Synthesized high aspect ratio of anatase TiO2 nanorods via hydrothermal process.
 Confirmed the dimension, crystallinity and composition of nanoparticle via X-ray diffractometer, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy and Transmission Electron Microscopy.
o Fabricated polymer-nanoparticle (P3HT-TiO2 nanorods) thin film organic solar cell via solution process.
 Investigated the morphology, carrier mobility, and charge separation & recombination rate via Atomic force microscope, Space charge limited current measurement and Photoluminescence spectroscopy.

Device Physics
o Crafted the hypothesis as well as designed and executed the experiments independently to explore the correlation between the carrier mobility of the P3HT/TiO2 device and the electrical annealing effect.

Process Development
o Manipulated the morphology of PEDOT:PSS layer by adding additives to balance mobility of electron and hole.
 Attended IUMRS-ICEM (Korea, 2010) as a poster to give presentation.
