- Mobile Robot Design, Fall 2011. Designed, fabricated, tested composite bucket wheel for Google Lunar X Prize lunar regolith excavator. Project incorporated SolidWorks, materials acquisition, wet layup, product finishing, operational (excavation) testing, formal proposal, report, presentations.
- Materials Capstone, Fall 2010. Developed and tested anti-abrasion polymer coatings for turbine blade and other leading-edge applications. Conducted time studies and generated Gantt charts for resource allocation. (Bayer Material Science AG)

RELEVANT RESEARCH
Research support under Professor Chris Pistorius (2009):
- Electropolishing of industrial steel for magnetic domain imaging.
- Oxidation of Magnetite in Taconite Ore for Grate-Kiln application. Prepared test design. Established and maintained industry relationships for acquisition of ore samples from Northeast US and Great Lake region iron ore mines and deposit ranges.
