Senior Capstone Design
Worked with a team of three other Biomedical Engineering students to find a solution to an open-ended
problem. Learned and implemented principles of concept generation, material selection, designing for
manufacturing, FDA device regulations, and marketing of medical devices.
Bioinstrumentation
Discussed biomedical measurement systems, imaging systems, cellular measurements, and different sensors
such as capacitive and piezoelectric sensors. Included laboratory portion in which an EKG and a pulse oximeter
were built and programmed to collect measurements from a subject.
