Job Description:
 Design of civil projects & structures; e.g. different kinds of commercial, industrial & administrative buildings, housing compounds, hotels & touristic villages.
 Design is performed based on international standards & special project specifications, to ensure the satisfaction of the following: Structural Safety, Optimal Economic Design & Aesthetical Respects.
 Design is carried out by means of hand calculations and computer modeling software packages.
 Production of structural design drawings & details of construction for all buildings & structures ‘elements.
 Review of structural design drawings for steel & reinforced concrete structures to satisfy all the project specifications & the requirements of international building standards.
 Review of structural workshop drawings (detailed construction and fabrication drawings
 showing the proposed material, shape, size, installation method and assembly of different parts to ensure no contradiction occurs between structural, electro-mechanical & architectural drawings and satisfying all structural design requirements.
Experience Record:

1) ST. REGIS HOTEL - NILE CORNICHE TOWERS, CAIRO, EGYPT (10,000m2, 4 Basements, 7 Podium levels & 2 Towers 30 floors each)
 Check & review of 2D Finite Element models (ETABS software), calculations & design drawings of Podium R.C. slabs.
 Inspection of structural design, carried out by Foreign Structural Consultant (OVE Arup, UK), with respect to the project specifications & Egyptian Code Requirements.
 Coordination & inspection of structural drawings with architectural drawings carried out by Foreign Architects (Michael Graves & Associates (MGA) – HKS, USA).
 Review, approval & correction of the contractor shop drawings of the raft, basement slabs, beams, columns & shear walls, based on its compliance with the structural drawings, architectural drawings & Egyptian specifications.
 Preparation & improvement of data filing system, with a daily basis update, for the shop drawings work schedule, technical submittals, Requests For Information, Field Change Requests & structural detailing sketches.
 Reporting directly to the structural project manager concerning urgent project issues & shop drawings schedule progress.
 Giving recommendations on prioritization of the reviewing process.

2) EGYPTIAN FERTILIZER COMPANY, AIN SOKHNA, EGYPT:
Analysis, design & preparation of construction drawings for many industrial buildings subjected to gravity and seismic loads such as:
a) Boiler building.
b) Deaerator building (device that is widely used for the removal of oxygen and other dissolved gases from
the feedwater to steam-generating boilers).
c) Many Pipe-Rack lines.
d) Control room and other service buildings.

3) FOUR SEASONS HOTEL – FIRST TOWER, GIZA, EGYPT:
Analysis, design & preparation of construction drawings for steel staircases joining duplex apartments in the tower.

4) AMOUN RESORT, ASWAN, EGYPT:
Analysis, design & preparation of construction drawings for Resort Main Building & Resort Luxury Suites.

5) THE UREA AMMONIA PLANT (MOPCO), DAMIETTA, EGYPT:
Production of complete structural drawings according to Egyptian specifications, using hand calculations as well as computer modeling programs.

6) AMMONIA/UREA PROJECT, SUEZ, EGYPT:
Review and check with manual and electronic calculations of many industrial buildings like sedimentation tanks and pipe-rack lines .

7) ABO-QIR FOR FERTILIZERS & CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT:
Analysis & preparation of 3D Finite Element Model (SAP software) for the Flash Drum Platform; consisting of R.C. frames, slabs, beams, pile caps, piles & tie beams.

8) EL SURIAN MONASTERY LIBRARY, NATROUN VALLEY, EGYPT:
Analysis, design and preparation of full structural drawings.

9) SAINT MINA MONASTERY, MARRIOUT, EGYPT:
Analysis, design and preparation of full structural drawings of various buildings & industrial plants constructed by the monastery.

10) DESIGN REVIEW OF PROJECTS FOR THE EGYPTIAN DECENNIAL POOL:
