Worked on the DOE Los Alamos National Laboratory Chemistry and Metallurgy Research Replacement (CMRR) Project with the following responsibilities:

As Senior Systems Process Engineer in the Mech Group in the Engineering Dept of the CMRR Project, provided systems engineering services including the following:
• CMRR NF Technical Baseline Change Control Coordinator
• Implementation of the authorization basis (F&OR);
• Technical baseline maintenance;
• Developed engineering study and design scope requirements;
• Reviewing the CMRR Project to ensure that the designs comply with LANL, State, Federal, and U.S. DOE requirements.
Specific Activities:
• My final position was as the Nuclear Facility (NF) Technical Baseline Change Control Coordinator reporting to the CMRR Engineering Manger. Major Functions included:
1. Coordinating with CMRR Engineers/Safety Basis Group & Sub-Contractor AEs to create Technical Change Requests (TCRs) for changes to the technical baseline.
2. Interfacing with TCR Reviewers in creation of their review/analysis for resolution of comments/questions.
3. Coordinating with CMRR Document Control to identify, transmit for signature approvals, turnover to Document Control and close out TCRs
4. Maintaining Technical Baseline Change Control procedure
• Developed the Vibration Predictive Maintenance Program for the RLUOB rotating Equipment.
• Submitting Plan and Scope to Management and Sub-Contractor to complete RULOB Fire Hazard Analysis (FHA) and Fire Protection SDD. Supported Sub-Contractor in resolving comments from CMRR Engineering and resolution of exception List. Creating scope of work for sub-contractor to produce equivalency reports for resolving items on the list of exceptions
• Coordinating activities of the Sub-Contractor Contractor Team updating System Description Documents (SDDs) and System Data sheets (SDSs) for RLUOB Project Engineer, including scheduling, coordinating review and approval of SDDs and SDSs and reviewing final Closeout Report from Sub Contractor and submitting Report into Document Control.
• Coordinating activities of the Sub-Contractor resolving outstanding items (TBDs & TBVs) identified for the SDDs & SDSs, including scheduling, coordinating review of TBDs & TBVs and reviewing final Closeout Report from Sub Contractor and submitting Report into Document Control.
• Coordinating the revision of the CMRR Program Requirement Document (PRD) with NNSA counterpart and issued CMRR Functional & Operational Requirements (F&OR) document.
