• Consist of daily inspections of freight trains cars to ensure quality and the dynamics of their coupling system, proper heights, and measurements before sending them out .Serving as well on the safety board for three years, helping to implement safety practices to prevent present accidents that may occur and/or future mishaps.
• I assisted with a team of other workers on the fork lift to jack up rail cars to change major devices such as brake beams, column guides, slack adjusters, and wheels that were defective and worn out. In addition, I worked with many power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment.
• I performed many duties also, to include changing defective air hoses, switching and locking out tracks, filling out track, and repair paper work, and staying in tune with all the radio’s communication traffic of inbound and all out bound trains.
