Micro and Nano-scale Bio-manipulation and Imaging and Sensing Laboratory, UT Austin
Supervisor (PI): Professor John X.J. Zhang

Commercial level silicon Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) micromirror based compact desktop confocal reflectance microscope

Used SolidWorks to design and package a commercial level silicon micromirror based laser scanning confocal reflectance microscope and aided in the development of the imaging software programmed in MATLAB.
-Stainless steel MEMS scanner based hand-held hyperspectral imaging for skin cancer detection

Helped design a miniaturized handheld confocal imaging probe for oral cancer detection in SolidWorks. Developed a Java and LabVIEW based software kit for real-time medical image processing algorithms.
-Non-silicon MEMS micromirror based handheld hyperspectral fluorescence imaging for epithelial cancer detection

Aided in the design, simulation, fabrication, and implementation of stainless steel and nickel MEMS micromirrors for use in fluorescence imaging.
-Polarized spatial frequency domain imaging (pSFDI) system for dynamic imaging and characterization of heart valve tissue

Developed the LabVIEW software to integrate various optical and biomechanical equipment to create a fully automated imaging system. Also helped design and assemble the optical-mechanical system for the functional spectral imaging.

Support and Technology Consultant February 2007 — present
Curley LLC
Implement and maintain the hardware, software, and networking infrastructure for a CPA firm.

Advanced Repair Agent April 2006 — present
