Experience
Rangeland Engineering, Calgary, AB 2011 to 2012
Process Engineer
Project: Cenovus - Suffield Ram Hill Gas Battery - AIMS, 4 MMSCFD gas
Project: Cenovus - Suffield A2 Gas Compressor Station - AIMS, 14 MMSCFD
Project: Pembina NGL - Red Deer Gas Fractionation and Storage, 73000 bpd liquid natural gas

• Involved in Asset Integrity Management System study and HAZOP of already built natural gas production batteries and compressor stations
• Developed PFDs from P&IDs, recommended improvement modifications to P&IDs, simulated the plant by HYSYS or VMGSim including MDEA sweetening unit, TEG dehydration unit, prepared HMB tables and wrote DBM
• Determined applicable and dominant relief scenarios for pressure relief valves and calculated the maximum relief capacities of PSVs using API 521 recommendations and sized them with SizeMaster.
• Wrote PSV narrative, and simulated and sized flare network using Aspen Flare System Analyzer.
• Performed drain system calculations, including maximum flow rates of blow by gases discharged through level control valves to FWKO and sizing the thief hatch and gooseneck, and wrote drain system reports.
• Calculated blowdown time and flow rates from pressurized vessels and compressors after emergency shutdown of plant and wrote blow down reports
• Involved in design of a new duplicated 73000 bpd liquid natural gas fractionation plant including simulation of dehydration of deethanizer by TEG and regeneration of TEG, pressure profiling and line sizing of TEG regeneration loop, simulating heat medium system and determination of required capacities of HM consumers, design and layout of heat medium system
