Fort Peck Spillway Plunge Pool Rehabilitation, McCone County, MT
Client: USACE, Omaha District, Contract Value: $32.9 M Approximately 800,000 cubic yards of excavation, placement of 95,000 cubic yards RCC(roller compacted concrete), placement of 10,000 cubic yards of CC (conventional concrete), and placement of 600 cubic yards of rip rap; also, a dewatering system, a cofferdam, spillway repairs, 201 post-tensioned and 919 un-tensioned anchors, training walls and downstream apron will be installed.
• Supervisor of two project engineers. Onsite supervisor while Project Manager is offsite.
• Prepared SWPPP, NOI, EPP, Waste Management Plan, Traffic Control Plan,
Dewatering Plan, Anchor Installation Plan, Access and Haul Road Plan,
Excavation Plan, Foundation Preparation Plan, Concrete Production Plan,
Formwork Plan, and Dewatering Plan.
• Obtained permits for: dewatering wells, water discharge, water usage.

Approximately 150,000 cubic yards of excavation, placement of 40,000 cubic yards of CC (conventional concrete), installation of a structural steel temporary shoring system to engage the existing diaphragm walls, 80 steel pilings 24” in diameter, 75 cable tie-backs; as well as, installation of an upstream apron, downstream apron, intake monolith, intake conduit, weir, and 9 fuse gates 30 feet tall and 50 feet wide.
• Project Engineer for project start-up and initial planning.
• Prepared Dewatering / Trenching Plan, Excavation Plan, Apron Drain Plan,
Foundation Preparation Plan, and Concrete Production Plan.
• Researched products and product data to ascertain applicability and job cost

of work, identify strengths and weaknesses of the companies’ abilities to perform,
