• Protocol Engineer: Analyzed WCDMA's PDU protocol transmissions. Analyzed outliers using Critical performance Testing methodology (KPI-1, KPI-2, KPI-3) between Handset-RAN-NW Server.
• Analyzed RAN latencies on MO, MT, Data, RRC state changes (Cell_PCH, Cell_FACH, Cell DCH).
• Analyzed IP/Data transmissions ( PDU Count, latency, Retransmission causes, PDP contexts (PDP1 and PDP 2 for PTT), ensured fast announce is working.

• Verifying the performance then issued certification for CIQ Embedded Agent (firmware) in new modem/handset’s (layer 1,2, 3, and OTA data) entering AT&T (17720)/Sprint labs.

Title: FAE (Field Application Engineer), QA department. Report to QA Test Director.

• Zyray Inc, hired me to design their WCDMA tool to debug their newly developed baseband chip and used for field testing globally. Afterwards, I was sent to do IOT testing and conduct testing with customers in Korea (Samsung), Japan (Panasonic, Softbank), China (Huawei), and Germany (Infineon). Awarded letter of appreciation from V.C. for a successful and profitable sale of Zyray to Broadcom.
• Broadcom bought Zyray, I was moved to System Test Group, conducted field testing (GSM/WCDMA) globally. Conducted software Inter-Operability testing at Ericsson (Sweden), Montreal, Dallas, Shanghai, Shenzhen (China). Successfully solved Customer’s WCDMA baseband problems in Japan resulting in 1st million chip order in 2008. Awarded Letter of Appreciation. Interviewed candidates, trained them and got Laid-off in 2009.

07/2001 – 05/2004: Nokia Wireless, San Diego, CA
Sr. Software Test Engineer/Technical Account Manager. Report to Project Directors.

• Technical Account Manager: Lead Nokia engineers to Sprint’s STIC Lab in Kansas for Acceptance Testing. Successfully put 4 Nokia CDMA (1x-RTT) phone models in Sprint’s stores in 2 years. Was key liaison between customer and our internal engineering and product directors. Performed CDG-2 testing myself. Trained new Nokia engineers.
• Awarded 4 Letters of appreciation.

07/1999 – 07/2001: Mitsubishi Wireless/Handsets, TDMA Group, San Diego, CA.
Title : Manager, Test Group. Report to: VP – Mitsubishi San Diego.

• Interviewed, supervised, hired, trained engineers from various engineering backgrounds (MS,BS) to be trained/converted to wireless engineer then deployed to functional departments. Supervised 5 engineers and 1 non engineer.
• Wrote Field Test Procedures for phones using the IS-136 standard (TDMA) phones.
• Negotiated, managed, and successfully passed IOT labs certification testing at Lucent-Whippany (NJ), Nortel-Dallas, Ericsson-Dallas laboratories. Mitsubishi shut down in 2001.

09/1997 – 09/1999: SONY Wireless/ Handsets, San Diego, CA.
Title: System Test Engineer, Software group. Reported to: S/W Director.

• Conducted system’s software field trials prior to releases as well as new product evaluation testing with prospective customers globally. Conducted Field Testing in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, Thailand, USA. I wrote EVRC test plan.
• Solved major issues between Sony Thailand, Sony USA, Sony Japan, resulting in the successful sale of Sony phones in Thailand.
• Successfully made the sale for SONY's phones to Clearnet(Canada). Awarded Sony (VP) Letter of Appreciation for my sales success in Canada. Sony shut down in 1999.

04/1996 – 09/1997: Comarco Wireless/Handsets, Irvine, CA.
Title: Product Support/training Engineer, Europe and Pacific RIM.

• Supported Comarco’s GSM test and GSM development from London. Supported marketing team to introduce their products in Europe. Conducted Acceptance testing at TIM- Italy, trained engineers in 10 Italian cities for 5 months. Successfully supported and managed Comarco’s growth in Europe.
• After my European campaign in Europe, I was sent for a 2 month marketing campaign in the Pacific Rim countries on my own. Did demos, set up booth, trained Carriers like Bell...
