Automated Twin Diesel Z-Drive Propulsion Plant. Watchstanding, rounds of main and auxiliary machinery spaces, operated automated plant, serviced and synchronized generators, assisted in making shore power and shore potable water connections, operated and maintained fuel purifier, transferred lube and fuel oil, maintained main engine and Z-drive coolant and oil levels, took oil samples for analysis, kept records of oil levels and tank soundings, assisted in fuel bunkering, welding, machine drilling, basic electrical troubleshooting, used various pneumatic, electric and hand tools, assisted engineers as needed in various other duties. 2 weeks of dry-dock experience.
