ACCOMPLISHMENTS


* MPA Photolithography Optical Mirror Improvement Project: Tracked mirror replacements, investigated problems with new optics and identified faulty mirror coating issues. Savings = 4,500 dollars every three months or 16,000 per year.

* MPA Fab1 Decommissioning Project: Lead preparations for equipment removal. Purged all hazardous chemicals, disconnected all air, water, chemical lines and electronic components. Prepare for secure shipping of tools by installing tie downs, packing blocks and stoppers. Interface with management and riggers to a set schedule. Project completed ahead of schedule.

* Increase wafer output by decreasing Resist Purge Timer by 29 sec every time there is a 3 minute delay. This can increase tool output up to 118 lots per year.

* Sony CRT Automatic Insertion Project: Developed / designed a better and more efficient way for CRT insertion. This greatly reduced CRT neck breakage and rework.
