• Acted as a trusted talent advisor providing executive assessment and senior-level search services principally in the financial sector.
• Driver of substantial growth of the firm’s U.S. Asset Management and Banking practices by winning new clients. Generated more than $30 million of new revenues.
• Served as the Head of the U.S. Financial Services Practice through the financial crash of 2008 and its aftermath.
• Established and managed several of the firm’s core client relationships including Alcoa, Bank of America, Barclay’s Global Investors, and Citigroup (the firm’s largest billing client globally.)

Notable Talent Management Experience
• Originated and led the management and team effectiveness review of the Citigroup Executive Team in 2009 as mandated by the FDIC. Reporting to the Chairman of the Board, the team assessed executives including the CEO, CFO, CAO, CEO CitiHoldings, CTO and others. Report was presented to the Citigroup Board of Directors, the FDIC, OCC and the U.S. Federal Reserve.
• Partnered with the CEO of CitiHoldings in the creation of an Executive Development and Retention Program, leveraging Egon Zehnder’s proprietary executive assessment model, for his executive team.
• Assessed the competence of a global bank’s mortgage business leadership (50 executives).
• Designed and lead an assessment and team effectiveness review of the Standard & Poor’s executive committee following its creation under the new President in 2011.

Notable Executive Search Experience
• Originated and executed C-Suite level search assignments in asset management and banking. In early years, developed and led the firm’s relationship with Alcoa yielding executive search/assessment experience in the industrial space.
• Key projects included reconstruction of the GMAC (now Ally Financial) Board in the midst of the financial crisis which resulted in the placement of the successor CEO. Recruited the Chairman and CEO of CIT Group.
• Specialized in search for strategic leaders including the CFO, CRO, CHRO, Treasurer, Chief Auditor, and Head of Compliance.

Group Head – Project Finance and Telecommunications – The Americas 1998-2001

Recruited and established a new professional team and repositioned the bank as a financial underwriter of significant projects. Established co-lead relationships with banking industry leaders.
