Scottrade is a software company providing a financial IT solution.

• Worked on trading application called New Elite. Implemented trading and quote screen with C++/MFC. Also, implemented order cache, order status, and conversation message from WCF.
• Implemented all our basic grid screen along with third party codes called BCGGridCtrl .
• Provided automation tool so that QA can run an auto test. Embedded interface code with C++/C# and provided user side code as VBA.


Software Engineer Trading Technologies (USA) Aug 2007 – Apr 2012
Trading Technologies is a software vendor providing an international trading application of futures/options

• Developed order routing/receiving gateway to exchanges such as OSE, TOCOM (C/C++/STL/Boost) and achieved the first connection between the US Trader and Japanese Exchanges. Worked as a bridge engineer to facilitate mutual system understanding.
• Implemented the order/price GUI, a new requirement of the X_Trader trading client application. Owned multiple versions (7.7, 7.8, 7.9, 7.11). GUI was designed with MFC, Windows 32 API, Stringray and OLE32. Used file serialization to retain compatibility with old GUI. Multithreaded for dynamic order/price updates. (C/C++/C#/MFC)
• Owned design, development and testing of the internationalization of the client application for multiple languages and released as a Japanese version (C/C++/MFC/C#). This internationalization project successfully helped our client software prevail with many Japanese merchandise traders.
• Made auto code review tool with Python in order to notify other developers of common mistakes such as hard coded strings, or incorrect copyright year by searching checked-in code from the code server.

• Worked on a client application called KeySQL. Developed a database connection with DB2, SQLServer2005, Oracle, Sybase, and Informix. Created separate modules for each database with each unique grammar and features to allow dynamic connections. (C/C++/ODBC/OLE32)
