• On the road as part of the Maintenance Assessment Program, collecting field data on state primary and secondary roads.
• Practice meticulous measurements, mathematical calculations, and safety on the road while learning functions and details of various state road designs such as drainage structures, asphalt applications, paint retro-reflectivity, and state limb requirements.
• Significant amount of time assisting in managing the State Sign Shop, worked primarily on making sign layouts on SignCad and printing signs on Graphtec plotter. Also masked, weeded, and rolled signs to produce final product on occasion.
