Bio-Medical Research Project
This project was done as a part of the Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN) winter 2013 research program and presented a poster on this. The main goal of this project was to find significant micro RNA’s (miRNAs) that play a predominant role in regulatory mechanism and leads to inflammatory process in Alzheimer’s disease using various Data mining techniques.
We had around 2 GB of data which we used to detect specific microRNA’s present in the given sample.
The tools used in this project are R (a statistical software for gene analysis) and Matlab®.
