• Coordinated major facilities and equipment projects including conception, layout, scheduling, budgeting, labor and contracting.
• Created detailed mechanical designs using AutoCAD for production machinery including furnace parts, material handling and process washers that improved equipment productivity, reliability and utilization.
• Planned equipment arrangement and component installation with an emphasis on maintenance and operator access, ergonomics and safety.
• Design, specification and layout of piping systems for cooling water, natural gas, nitrogen, ammonia and other utilities.
• Monitored and documented equipment status and maintained critical and general maintenance spares inventory.

Worked directly with furnace manufacturer from the outset to fit Austemper Quench system within limited existing area. Produced detailed plans for new facilities, office renovation, and equipment layout.
