SUMMARY OF EMPLOYMENT:

Ryder Scott Petroleum Consultants, Houston - Vice President, 1998 - 2014

Seventeen years of reservoir engineering experience with a major oil company and a consulting firm. Areas of technical expertise include reserves management, economic evaluation, reservoir simulation modeling, probabilistic modeling, rate transient analysis, reservoir surveillance, production optimization, field operations, well testing, and database management. Results of technical evaluations are used to support projects such as general property appraisal, detailed in-depth full field economic analysis (including depletion forecast, infill development drilling, horizontal wells, identification of workover / behind pipe opportunities, exploration prospect evaluation), annual SEC filings, initial public offering (IPO) filings, court testimonies, project feasibility studies, property acquisitions and divestments, financial lending qualifications and bank reports, gas deliverability studies, pattern waterflood and EOR certifications, and pipeline system evaluations. Evaluations have been accepted and withstood technical challenges of clients, buyers/sellers, outside third party consultants, worldwide financial institutions, and SEC reserves engineers.

Responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary team for annual corporate reserves reporting for independent oil producers such as Alamo Resources, Atinum E&P, Aures Energy, Basin Exploration, BNP Petroleum, Capco Energy, Constellation Energy, Energiya, Petsec Energy, PetroReconcavo, Petrosantander, PetroSearch Energy, Plains Resources, Sterling Energy, Tammany Oil & Gas, Tana Exploration, and W&T Offshore. Responsibilities included communications with client, gathering and requests of necessary data, and coordination of Ryder Scott analysis. To finalize each project, consolidated results of various field evaluations to company level, performed quality control of economic projections, and published reports according to requirements by client and/or accounting firm.

Played critical role in large scale projects for both national oil companies and private companies such as Anadarko, Apache, Bolivia YPF, British Petroleum, China NOOC, ConocoPhillips, Devon (Pennzoil), European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, Ecopetrol (Colombia), ENI (AGIP), Forest, Gaz de France, Korean NOC, Newfield, Ocean, PDVSA (Venezuela), Pemex, PetroAmazonas (Equator), Pogo, Repsol YPF, Trinidad & Tabaco Ministry of Energy, Tyumen Oil (Russia), and Unocal.

Routinely analyzed remaining reserves for high value fields. In 2011 evaluated Bayu Undan retrograde reservoir in Offshore Australia. In 2012 focused on Kashagan undeveloped carbonate platform in Caspian Sea and Nikaitchuq new horizontal waterflood drilling development in Alaska. In 2013 set-up initial field evaluations of Deepwater Mars (U.S. Gulf of Mexico) and Sacha extensive workover / infill drilling program in Equador. Performed annual updates of Dolphin & Dolphin Deep fields (Offshore Trinidad & Tabaco); Bohai Bay & East China Sea Areas (Offshore China); and Guarilaque, Caipal / Palagua, Apiay / Suria Areas (Colombia).

Evaluated unconventional oil and gas properties using probabilistic method. In 2011 evaluated Mississippian Lime formation (Oklahoma & Kansas). In 2013 evaluated producing and undeveloped oil and gas shale properties in Argentina. These studies involved integration of independent geologic and engineering variable distributions to arrive at combined probabilistic project results range. Developed reserves and resources profile distributions (P10, P50, P90, mean, median, P^) and type curves adjusted for drilling project size based on publically available production data across entire play areas.

Have working knowledge of additional reservoir types and projects: conventional oil and gas properties (U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Offshore China); tight gas reservoirs (West Texas); naturally fractured reservoirs (Kashagan in Caspian Sea); steam injection and gravity drainage (Arroyo Grande field in California); heavy oil and horizontal drilling (Mt. Poso field in California, Apiay / Suria Areas in Colombia); abnormally pressured gas reservoirs (U.S. Gulf of Mexico); abnormally pressured oil reservoirs (Lviv Oblast in Ukraine); pressure maintenance water injection (Offshore Libya fields); secondary recovery water injection (San Jose Basin in Argentina, RecĂ´ncavo Basin in Brazil, Quinduno field in Texas); gas shale reserves (Barnett, Eagle Ford); coalbed methane recovery; large gas fields (Algeria, Egypt, Trinidad); natural gas injection and gas storage; gas cap expansion (South Pass 59 in U.S. Gulf of Mexico); and gas deliverability study (West Natuna Sea in Indonesia).

Exxon Company USA, New Orleans - Reservoir Engineer, 1996 - 1998

Two years field operations experience as a reservoir engineer for West Delta 73/117 & Grand Island 43 complex (U.S. Gulf of Mexico) consisting of 200 wells and 10 platforms. Performed production surveillance and optimization; extensive well logging to monitor oil and gas contact movement; reservoir studies and dynamic modeling; optimization of hydrocarbon recoveries; identification, evaluation, and recommendation of workover / infill drilling development opportunities; field depletion plan; field financial stewardship; risk analysis; and reserves bookings. Evaluated and implemented three wells horizontal drilling program. Mentored summer intern on reservoir pressure maintenance project in weak edge water drive reservoir.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Reservoir Engineering:

Analyze, predict, and explain fluid flow characteristics of hydrocarbon reservoirs and rock properties to maximize economic reserves recoveries. Regularly practice traditional petroleum reserves determination applications such as performance curve evaluation, volumetric ...
