I am a Reservoir Engineer with 25 years of extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. I worked mainly with ExxonMobil Upstream Nigeria however; I have had major assignments with ExxonMobil Development Company in Houston, Texas including Cross-posting. I have worked in Shallow water, Continental Shelf and Deep water environment. I have a wealth of experience and have been adjudged an expert in various aspects of Reservoir Engineering:

SPECIALTIES & CORE SKILLS

* Reservoir Management and Surveillance * Reservoir Modeling / Simulation
* New Field Development / Field Development Plans * Decline Curve Analysis / Production Forecast
* Economic Evaluation * Reserves Evaluation/Estimation
* Well Test Analysis (PTA) * Well Work-over Evaluation/Recommendation
* PVT Analysis / SCAL Analysis * Coaching and Mentoring
* Hardware Platform: PC and related software
* Production Evaluation: Prosper and MBAL, OFM, Production Analyst, Saphir, WEM, PVT ProTherm

EXPERIENCE
Unam 1BB2/15 Reservoir Simulation Study
Carried out a history-matched, simulation model of Unam 1BB215 reservoir with an in-place volume of over 400 million barrels of oil and 40 years of production history. The objective of the study was to identify drill well and work-over opportunities to maximize production and optimize recovery from this reservoir. Successfully history matched the model and ran sensitivities to determine optimal well locations. Also, evaluated the impact of pressure maintenance by gas injection in the field. Result showed that pressure maintenance by gas injection would improve recovery from the field.

Erha Phase 5 Deep-Water Simulation Study
Successfully carried out, a full Field Erha (Deep-water) Phase 5 Simulation Studies with Original Oil-In-Place (OOIP) of over 1.2 Billion Barrels. The work involved building the reservoir model from the scratch using the geologic model from Petrel, history matching, prediction sensitivities, and opportunities generation to assess depletion plan and support investment decisions (Infill Drilling, Gas and Water Injection / Capacity expansions, Gas Sales etc.) of over one billion dollars investment.

Seconded to ExxonMobil Development Company (EMDC) in Houston, Texas as Erha Surveillance Engineer in February 2005 to support a New Field Development, Erha/Erha North Deep Water, Field Development Project, with initial Project cost of about $1.6 Billion. The project consisted of 35 subsea development wells (Erha – 16 Producers, 4 Gas Injectors and 3 Water Injectors and Erha N – 6 Producers & 6 Water Injectors). Carried out series of simulation sensitivity studies for both Erha and Erha North to develop an optimal depletion plan for both fields using the existing Erha Phase 4 simulation Model. Utilized understanding of Erha reservoir and reservoir performance to assess and integrate the results from development drilling campaign. Organized monthly Subsurface transition meetings between different Companies (EMPC – Houston & Nigeria, EMDC Houston, EMEC etc.) that resulted in flawless transfer of the project to ExxonMobil Nigeria.
Yoho/Awawa New Field Development Project
Worked with the Yoho/Awawa Asset Team to realize the objective of bringing Yoho field on production about 27 months earlier than the full field development with the use of Early Production System (EPS). A total of sixteen development wells (12 producers and 4 injectors) were drilled during the EPS. Also, worked with the Team in maintaining Yoho production at a facility capacity of 120 KBD.
• Ensure that critical data required for proper evaluation of Yoho and Awawa fields such as RFT pressures, fluid samples for PVTs and core data were incorporated in the drilling programs and followed up to ensure that the data were actually acquired. Worked with the Service Labs to ensure high quality data were provided. Quality checked the data prior to final report.

Satellite Field Development (Oyot, Utai and Enang West fields)
• Reservoir engineer responsible for evaluating and developing the depletion strategy for Satellite Field Development consisting of Oyot, Utai and Enang West fields. Satellite fields are small, undeveloped fields that are too small to have stand-alone production facilities. The main issue is developing the fields in the most cost-effective manner. Evaluated the fields using sensitivity analysis to determine optimal depletion plan for the fields and developed the field development plans that were approved by both management and regulatory bodies.
Exploration Drilling
• Provided reservoir engineering support to the Near Field Wildcat (NFW) Group in Exploration drilling. Developed the Engineering Technical Endorsement packages for Ebiya and Idoho W NFW drilling. Got commendation from the Central Technology Organization (CTO) in Houston on the quality of work especially on the Ebiya Engineering Technical Endorsement package. The packages were approved and the wells were successfully drilled. Evaluated RFTs, which were tied to wireline logs. Worked with NFW to evaluate the reserves associated with Ebiya.

Coaching/mentoring/Leadership
• Backfilled as supervisor of Reservoir Development Group. Reviewed Usari Pressure Maintenance Funding package and arranged for the presentation with the Vice President.
• Coordinated the Yoho quarterly workshops/meetings involving EMDC, MPN, CTO and Field Operations. Also coordinated the weekly and monthly teleconference involving the subsurface ALT level and Subsurface Leadership Team respectively. The intent is to keep all the parties informed. Timely circulated the minutes of the meetings.
• Provided coaching and mentoring to Young Engineers, National Youth Service Corpers (NYSCs) and Interns (Industrial Attachés).

Proceeded on a Special Assignment to ExxonMobil Development Company (EMDC) in Houston, in September 2000, to carry out reservoir simulation studies on Nsimbo 1-NS1 and 2-NS1 gas reservoirs. The objectives of the study were to determine the feasibility of using the Nsimbo gas to provide fuel for the proposed power plant (Bonny IPP) and also supply make-up gas for Oso gas injection. Successfully completed the study and used the model to address critical issues such as optimal depletion strategy, the timing of the compressors and ultimate recovery from the reservoirs. Developed the development plan for Nsimbo gas field to provide fuel gas for power generation.

I was the Team Lead for the Gas Team in the Oso/NGL/Gas Group of the JV Technical. Provided the leadership that was instrumental in th...
