• Designed the layout of the IGBT gate drive circuit, the power supply circuit and the deadtime control circuit respectively to perform simulation.
• Extracted data from datasheet to generate utilizable PSpice models for LM2592HV-ADJ and SF1600, collaborated with other students to ensure the generated models work correctly and efficiently by implementing them to their test circuits given in datasheet.
• Analyzed the simulation result, verified the accuracy and usability of the circuit designs, acted as a QA tester and guaranteed the project was on schedule.
Sound Direction Detector (C/C++)
September 2013 - November 2013
• Designed a system that can display the direction of the sound source by computing the phase delay of two received signals using Fast Fourier Transform and General Cross-Correlation Method.
• Optimized the algorithm, utilized the difference between the point corresponded to the max value of each cross correlation instead of the phase difference between the Fourier transforms of the cross correlations to get the delay of two signals, to achieve the most efficient code and the most accurate result.
