ENGINEERING PROJECTS

Programming Languages: August 2010 – May 2014

A variety of programming languages have been used:
(1) LabVIEW programming was used to control LEGO Kinect robots that navigated a maze situation.
(2) MATLAB and C programming was used to describe controlling various 3 degree-of-freedom robots.
(3) Python programming was used to control a simulated city traffic light control system.
(4) G-code was used to cut out a servo horn in Mach3Mill.
Circuit Design: January 2013 – May 2014

Multiple circuits and boards have been designed for various projects:
(1) Multisim and Ultiboard were used to design a board for controlling an electric wheelchair using a joystick and a board for controlling servos based on input from a radio frequency signal.
(2) Digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators were used to test a 555 timer circuit.
(3) Arduino, PSoC, and a multitude of integrated circuits have been used for various projects.

Mechanical Work: January 2013 – December 2013

The mechanical side of robotics has also been covered thoroughly:
(1) Mastered various equipment in order to complete projects, such as the drill press, belt sander, band saw, and table saw.
(2) Used SolidWorks to design multiple three dimensional objects.
(3) Soldered components, wires, and integrated circuits to boards, through hole and surface mount.
