Received Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in math from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor May 2012; Junior Scholar awarded in 2009.
Started a Master’s program in digital signal processing at University of Southern California – Santa Barbara.

• Developing a program to separate audio sources. Led a class team to design, implement, and test program. Video April 2012 prototype. Then translated into C for real time application on a DSP board. Algorithms have since been redesigned.
• To improve/develop room acoustic simulations using FEMs for PDEs and fluid dynamics.

• Improved skull stripping (brain extraction) algorithm in 3D MRI data for use in Brainsuite for brain modeling. Worked under Dr. Richard Leahy at University of Southern California during summer 2010.
