COVER LETTER:
I am a recent graduate from the Mining Engineering Program at the University of Kentucky. I have grown up around mining my whole life, and have known that I have wanted to do something involving mining at an early age. I started in the mining industry at age 16 pressure washing equipment, and digging out coal truck beds. I eventually started to work on trucks as a mechanic. The past two summers I have had the opportunity of obtaining an internship under ARCH Coal. There I worked in the field, permitting department, and on the budget. I would enjoy the opportunity to increase my knowledge in the field of Mining Engineering. Thank you for taking the time to consider me for the opportunity in doing so.

OBJECTIVE:
To obtain a position in the field of Mining Engineering that helps build on the knowledge that I have learned in school and my internships.

BS in Mining Engineering, University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky.
Completed 72 hours at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
