EXPERIENCE:

RAYTHEON MISSILE SYSTEMS, Tucson, AZ 1999-2014
Senior Multidisciplined Engineer I, Test & Systems Engineering
Key accomplishments include:
• Reduced test cycle time by 50% in testing payloads in stressed powered testing conditions to missile payloads in launch simulations, resulting in substantial cost savings to the project.
• Authored source control document in the new design of a missile interconnect harness, detailing technical requirements for an interface containing 800+ signals and supported development of the electrical interface specification for this unit. Formally presented systems requirements package to customer, including requirements verification and validation matrix.
• Prepared technical data package supporting a major software upgrade, extensively revising launch interface and software specifications for the all up round missile. This involved identifying new discretes, bit field definitions to include new capabilities for in-flight communications protocols, and defining a new midcourse guidance mode for the missile.
• Key team member for a new business initiative to license Javelin missile production by the Indian Defense Ministry. Reviewed engineering drawings to determine compliance to export controls as well as authoring sections of the technical proposal to detail phases of production startup.
• Authored several critical item development specifications for circuit card assemblies to support redesign of digital signal processor, specifying verification methods and levels, providing traceability and links to upper level requirements using the DOORS tool. Prepared performance validation reports for these assemblies.
• Generated compliance matrices for missile payload, assessing compliance to nearly 1,200 requirements, identifying verification documents, test reports, analyses and inspection. This was used for selloff of two flight articles to customer.
• Recognition received for outstanding performance.
