PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

RAYTHEON MISSILE SYSTEMS - Tucson, AZ 2008 - Present

Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) - Simulations, Advanced Development (2009 - Present)

Direct integrated product teams (IPT) of up to 12 developers and electrical engineers in the design and development of high-fidelity performance prediction simulations for air-to-air weapon systems for the U.S. Military. Influence integrated product teams throughout the program, ensuring simulation best practices in terms of usage and development. Ensure simulation development schedule supports the program development schedule. Plan and manage laboratory and flight test measurements for simulation validation efforts.

Identify simulation development opportunities to provide timely capabilities ahead of the needs of other program IPTs. Lead code and architecture design activities. Review and approve all released code. Prepare and present monthly formal status reports to government customers and internal/external program management and chief engineers. Manage an operating budget of $10M.

* Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for simulation software development (C++, Fortran), test, and usage for product line.

* Established a formal simulation verification and validation process - cited with a "Purple" score in the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR)

* Currently developing a DOE tool to characterize key performance factors in simulation trials.

* Peer nominated for Raytheon Engineering Honors for outstanding individual technical contributions at the Senior Systems Engineer level (Nov 2009) and Principle Systems Engineer level (Nov 2013).

* Received Raytheon Excellence in Engineering Leadership Award, June 2012

Certified Control Account Manager (CAM) - EVMS, Simulations (2009 - Present)

Plan, track, and analyze budget allocations and usage for the simulation software development team using the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to ensure on-time, on-cost deliveries. Review spending plan and actuals to identify under/over - performing activities. Develop mitigation plans for either case.

* Maintained a CPI / SPI above 0.98 through effective management of Earned Value metrics.

* Currently developing Python automated recommender system to track and identify risks and opportunities earlier in the development cycle.
