PROJECTS
Graduation Project Team Leader Sept. 2013-April 2014
Design of a ball with multiple panoramic cameras that captures images at the highest vertical point when free fall begins. Pictures can be stitched together to create a full 360 all axis panoramic photo, which the user can interface with.
I was responsible for:
* Managing the overall progress of the project, making sure we met our goals and deadlines.
* Finding all the components and making sure that they functioned with each other.
* Designing the circuits for the individual components such as the cameras, accelerometer, SD card and Bluetooth.
* Programming the micro-controller with the programmer of the team and developing algorithms.
* Figuring out solutions to problems that came up, such as not being able to control more than three cameras. Searched the internet and spoke with people that told my team and me that it was impossible. Used multiplexers to solve that “impossible” problem.
* Helped design the 3D printed ball with SolidWorks.
* Soldered all the components onto the PCB

Individual Projects
* Autonomous car
-Hacked a RC car to control the motors with a programmable microcontroller. Using a ultrasonic sensor the car is able to track the distance of objects in front of it and avoid the object by referring to the algorithm.
* RF circuits: Cell phone and TV remote control jammer
- Device that blocks cell phones at 450 MHZ. When turned on, the device will produce 450MHZ to block the cell phone signal. Also works on TV remote controls by adjusting the frequency to that of the remote.
