Nov 2009 – Present Masonite International
Division Project Manager, overseeing the Division’s project management program for 11 operating plants. Responsibilities include leading the department’s corporate engineers as well as the individual plant’s project teams to ensure that all company standards and project requirements are met. Review and approve all project plans including design, scope, cost, schedule and return on investment.

> Area project manager (~$18M out of a $200M total project) for the engineering and procurement for the calcining mill and bulk material handling system at the a start-up wall board plant in Roxboro, NC.
> Manager for new $5 million product enhancement line
> $5 million saving and innovative design for raw material feed supply. Redesigned several process areas to improve operating efficiency and reduce capital cost.


2004 April – Jan 2006, HSA Engineers and Scientists Project Manager
Directed professional and expert and litigation support services to provide a legal defense for a multinational chemical company.
> Project Manager, responsibilities included setting team directives, coordinating the various experts’ roles and responsibilities, the development of engineering process flow diagrams, organizing the historical operating and environmental permits and the presentation of team results to corporate attorneys.

2003 March - April 2004, CF Industries, Process Engineered Safety, EH&S, Bartow, FL.
Lead teams in the examination of corporate engineering and operating practices for Process Safety Management systems. This was a senior level position that exposed selected employees to all facets of the organization.
 Mechanical Integrity procedures audits, as well as OSHA and Environmental compliance audits. The team was responsible for providing corporate management with oral and written assessments of the facility's overall compliance.

2000 June - 2003 March, CF Industries, Senior Project Manager, Engineer and Construction.
Corporate level position reporting to the General Manager of Engineering and Construction. Major projects in excess of $1 million were managed through this office.
> Project manager for a $20 million civil and process water improvement project to contain and recirculate low Ph water. Total impacted are over 200 acres.
> Company’s lead engineer in a joint venture project to combine and focus three separate companies’ assets to reduce raw material costs. The team was chartered with the responsibility to design, build and obtain operating permits for a $48 million sulfur unloading facility.
> Manager for $6 million process improvement construction project. Two ball mills and all associated tanks, pumps and piping were lined or replaced with acid proof material. Direct responsibility for the hiring and firing of all contract and non-contract personnel associated with this project. Hired and supervised the engineering firms responsible for the design. Responsible for the engineering equipment procurement, budget and operational goals.

1998 Jan -2000 Jun CF Industries, Senior Project Engineer, Plant City Phosphate Complex:
As the facilities highest ranking project engineer developed an annual capital expenditures budget and completed financial analysis and project management on a variety of facility maintenance and production improvement projects.
 Project Manager for $4.0 million piping improvement project. Responsible for hiring all associated staff. The highest point of employment reached approximately 30 people. Submitted monthly budget updates to senior management. Wrote monthly project status reports to state DEP. This 18-month project had two engineering firms as well as seven subcontractors directly reporting to me. Completely responsible for all purchases, cash flow projections and budget management.
