Demographic prediction using consumer data Jan 2014 – Sept 2014
● Pursued as an independent study under Prof. Shawndra Hill of the Wharton School. Studied the correlation between combinations of products used by consumers and their gender.
● Trained the model using Active Learning on customer data collected through surveys to predict gender.
● Analyzed the data and derived correlations based on the predictions made using Python and Weka.
Tripster : An end to end trip management system Nov 2014 - present
● Designed an end to end database system considering different entities and constraints in trip management.
● Used node.js to establish interface between database instance hosted on Amazon RDS and front end.
● The webapp will be hosted on Amazon EC2 instance with support to add trips, friends, plan itinerary, share photos.
