PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

HEMLOCK SEMICONDUCTOR LLC, Clarksville, TN 2013 – Present
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the utility plants for HSC’s new Clarksville site as part of a $1.5B Greenfield capacity expansion.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

• Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve the capability,
reliability and productivity of the processes.
• Manage process changes in accordance with OSHA's PSM standard.
• Troubleshoot new or existing plant problems involving designs, materials, or
processes.
• Identify plant maintenance opportunities, trying to limit the number of
disruptive work orders using SAP.
• Coaching, training and development of operators, taking them through to internal
certification.
• Prepare engineering and training documentation for new and existing
manufacturing processes.

operate the air compressors, chillers, hot water boilers, steam boilers, reverse
osmosis units and cooling tower systems.

Responsible for the training program for 150 plant operations technicians, and 30 manufacturing engineers for HSC’s new Clarksville site. Coaching and mentoring of training officers for the delivery of the integrated training program between sister plants within the company.

TRAINING ANALYST

• Organize, facilitate, and support operator and engineer training for all
technologies.
• Orientation and induction training for new employees.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using test results, competency assessments,
trainer evaluations and feedback.
• Identify training process improvement opportunities, and develop solutions to
optimize training process workflows.
• Assist trainers and subject matter experts in the design and development of
training materials, including training manuals, presentation materials and
tests.
• Work with third parties as needed to develop and deliver training programs.

Achievements:

• Managed the acceptance of the operator-training simulator program for a 10,000
I/O plant that had a medium fidelity simulation of the proposed plant.

plant operators and engineers.
• All 150 operations staff passed through competency plan, and signed off in 18
months from inception.

DOW CORNING, Zhangjiagang, China 2007 – 2011
Work with EPC’s and Internal Project organization to accept the new $1.2 billion green field Integrated Chemical facility site on behalf of Dow Corning, and prepare for plant start-up and continuous operations.
