Career Objective & Professional Summary:
I aim to work as a Cost Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer for an organization that can benefit from my knowledge, experience, and ambition. My background includes over four years experience in construction management working for a globally respected engineering firm. I have had the good fortune to work with two government agencies, the NJTA and the PANYNJ, on major transportation projects: the NJ Turnpike Widening Program and the PATH subway system modernization. I have experience managing bridge, highway, tunnel and rail contracts and I have seen projects both large and small from start-up to completion. Work Experience:
Office Engineer/ Finance Coordinator, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Jersey City, NJ (October 2012 – Present)
Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) Modernization – To ensure the long-term viability of PATH by bringing it into the 21st Century. Multiple projects ranging from $1M to $60M in construction cost.
-Manage the finances and budgeting of all PATH construction projects (40+ projects)
-Monitor project progress and recalibrate forecasting based on expenditure trends and client priorities
-Prepare monthly reports for each project to ensure necessary cost control and to account for future fund allocation
-Administer financial software with tracking modules for contractor payments, financial forecasting, project expenditure, accruals, change order tracking, contract status updates, monthly projections, etc.
-Review, approve and ensure timely submissions of contractor payment applications
-Audit T&M invoices to establish accurate submissions for future payments
-Authenticate all required contract documentation such as certified payrolls, insurance, subcontractor approvals, M/WDBE compliance, Prevailing Wage Statements, etc.
-Pursue and resolve delinquent payments and unbilled costs, including direct payments owed to subcontractors
-Define the scope and cost of extra work and expedite change order processing
-Approve contractor labor, equipment and material billing rates

Assistant Office Engineer, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Monroe TWP, NJ (June 2010 – October 2012)
New Jersey Turnpike Widening Program – 35 miles of highway widening and associated interchange improvements to accommodate projected traffic needs through the year 2032. $2.5B total construction cost.
-Managed and maintained project document control system for Contract T869.120.802, a 3.5-mile stretch of highway involving the deconstruction and replacement of three highway overpasses
-Calculated and tracked completed work quantities and processed GC payments
-Organized and administered contract change orders
-Reviewed labor, material and equipment tickets and verified accurate daily reporting by inspectors
-Inspected field work and reported quantitative completed work calculations to be processed for payment
-Coordinated between inspector, contractor, and testing facilities with any work changes
